The main event for photography and videography enthusiasts is finally here! We are buzzing with anticipation at the exhibitors and new products that will be on show this year over the long weekend of 17th-20th September.

Hosted in Birmingham at the NEC, The Photography Show will be 4 days of like-minded photographers and videographers taking the opportunity to mingle, chat with brands, and compare tips and tricks with other passionate people in the industry.

The exciting news this year is that coinciding with The Photography Show 2022, Godox has been busy releasing their new exciting range of products! When is it?

The Photography and Video Show 2022 is open between 10am and 5pm on the following days:

Saturday, 17 September
Sunday, 18 September
Monday, 19 September - Following the sad news of the Her Majesty's passing, the show will be closed on this day as a mark of respect.
Tuesday, 20 September

Where is it?

The Photography Show 2022 takes place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham in Halls 2 & 3.

Should I Bring my Camera?

We're always being asked if visitors should bring their camera, and we always say yes! The Photography Show 2022 is a fantastic opportunity to share your skills and get to grips with new gear with like minded individuals, and having your camera there will help thigns along!

Where Should I Stay?

With the location of the NEC being quite close to Birmingham Airport, there are a number of large chain hotels (Premier Inn, Holiday Inn, Hotel Ibis etc.) that service the airport that would also be perfect for photography enthusiasts!

Food and Drink

The event itself is well serviced with the Food Village in Hall 2. If you want even more variety, there are a number of restaurants and bars situated around the NEC complex. 

Transport to the Venue

By Car

The NEC is clearly signposted on all the nearby major roads (M42, M40 and the M6). Follow the postcode B40 1NT in your sat nav. Nearer the time there will be signs clearly signposting the name of the show and the direction in which you should drive. 

Parking is available at a cost of £12.85 a day if you pre-book, or £16.85 if you purchase on the day.

By Train

The NEC is well serviced by train by direct services from Birmingham New Street station, and the journey is less than 15 minutes. 

By Bus/Coach

Buses and coaches run very frequently between the NEC and Birmingham Airport. You can use the free air-rail link from Birmingham International Railway Station located at the upper level of Terminal 1. The train runs every 2 minutes and takes a minute and a half.
